Live From Nando's, It's the Live-Action Space Invaders Counselling Hour!
For those of you who were missing the T-Shirt of the week:
This is my Live Action Space Invaders shirt. It's one of the few shirts I feel weird about wearing around Tanja's parents.
So yes! Today. I write things down. Again.
(Click for bigger photos if my writing hurts your brain.)

Could be worse. My therapist is a hippy-dippy guy who believes that all things can be solved by meditation. Um. No.
I'm new to this, though, so I can't really cast judgement on this woman.
And I have to say, you are one of the people I consider to be one of the more together people I've met. It says a lot about you that you can hold yourself together and be worried about everyone else's state of mind before your own.
Chin up. I know I;m the last person who would say this, but things will get better.
I love your Scribbleblog format. :-) And thanks for sharing your story. It does sound like that counselor is a bad match for you! But what comes through in your writing is that you have a lot of resilience, so the very act of seeking help is likely to result in feeling a bit better already. I hope things improve and that you're able to find a job that will make you happy very soon!
Glad to hear you lined up a session with another counselor right away. Dunno how that style would be helpful to anyone. Maybe she was trying to make your mind wander on purpose by rambling about herself?
